Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. She was born on August 18 in 1986. She is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is a past UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a part of Strikeforce in which she was the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice president of ONE Championship. As of October 3 2022 she was 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a child Tate would often hang out with the boys from her neighborhood on the playgrounds.
